We are hiring Granite Fabricators and Installers!
Signature Stoneworks is a fast-growing, premier stone fabrication shop located in Indianapolis. We are currently seeking full-time Stone Fabricators and/or Installers that are hard-working individuals and take pride in their work. Signature Stoneworks provides full-service templating, fabrication, and installation of granite, marble, soapstone, quartzite, and quartz countertops.
Candidates with at least 1 year of experience installing, and cutting stone, along with polishing granite/marble highly desired. No experience with Granite? Not a problem - we will train the right candidate. Seeking Individuals interested in Templating, Hand Polishing, and CNC Saw/Router Operation- We are growing and looking to add to our team!
Primary Responsibilities:
• Use of power tools, table saws, routers, etc. to assist with the fabrication of granite, natural stone, quartz.
• Examines specifications of the customer’s order using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
• Fabricates workpiece as determined by work order specifications. Retrieves correct materials and performs.
Fabrication Duties:
• Ensure jobs are completed in a safe and efficient manner and pay great attention to detail.
• Ensure quality expectations are met in every job and inspect completed jobs for overall quality.
• Communicate effectively with the rest of the shop team members.
• Observes all safety procedures, reports potentially unsafe conditions, and uses equipment and materials properly.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Assist with shop housekeeping, maintenance, and staging/loading as needed.
• Work safely and responsibly, adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Adhere to all company policies and codes of the employee handbook.
• All other duties assigned.
Requirements:
• Ability to work with rulers, tape measures, shop drawings, and perform simple math calculations.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Able to lift and maneuver 50+ pounds.
• Open to learning new skills and being cross-trained in different areas of shop work.
• A positive attitude with a dedication to high-quality work and craftsmanship.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines with limited supervision.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
