What an amazing fall we have had here in the Pacific Northwest. It was 67 degrees here today... perfect weather to tackle another tiny house build. This tiny house comes to us with the structure in place. The owner has chosen Cascade Tiny Houses to help her finish it to her exact specifications, and we are very much looking forward to creating another amazing home for another adventuresome soul who is looking to live outside the constraints of the "American Norm". The owner of this home is a very clever, very courageous retired woman who is ready to roll up her shirt sleeves and get to work to help create her retirement home on wheels. This build is a new venture for us... the existing structure is SIPS panels built on a custom 28' trailer
( ordered from Circle A trailers here in Bellingham ). It is complete so far with a standing seam metal roof and it will have an exterior deck. The siding needs to be installed, and then we will begin on the interior. It is going to be great fun. Stay tuned for progression updates and photos.

Good Morning y'all..
It's official, we now have a proper parking spot for your tiny house or RV right here on our property. At this time it will be for short term only, until June, but it could include pasture rent for your horse or ??? We are asking $600/month. Our property is 10 acres of lovely pasture and you'll have a terrific view of Mt. Baker.
We are looking for 1 person, possibly 1 dog or cat, no drugs, no parties, and someone who is quiet and respectful. If you are that person, or know someone who is give us a shout.

MOVING DAY was a huge success. On Saturday December 3rd we had Dave Black and William from Get Simple Box move our tiny house to it's new location. It went better than we could have hoped for, and we are so fortunate to have been a part of the new owner's life changing choices to go tiny. Dave and William did an amazing job with the whole moving process treating our Tiny House with such care. Thank you .
As we get deeper into the Tiny House movement it is very thought provoking to be surrounded by people who are making those life changing decisions to do more with less. Quite inspirational really.
Thanks for helping us spread the word, our greatest response comes from your friends who you have shared this with. We appreciate your interest very much.
So now we are looking forward to our next build, and at this point it looks like I may get lucky and get my own office. We'll keep you posted.

WOW, what a weekend!! We had an overwhelming response to our Open House. It is so encouraging to see so many people from all walks of life embracing the Tiny House concept. We talked to many young couples looking for an alternative to the life long mortgage, retirees who are done taking care of all consuming properties and are looking for more free time to explore life's possibilities, and families who are looking to simplify their lives.
It occurs to me as we have had the pleasure of meeting these courageous souls, that this Tiny House movement is more than just a solution to housing, it is a life statement that contradicts most of what we have been taught. And as such the "heart and soul" of your tiny living space should reflect and support your commitment to that life style in every way possible.
This Tiny Home will be moving to it's new location this week, so we are looking forward to our next Tiny House build. If I am fortunate it will be an office building that will be our showcase model.
Thank you all for your support , encouragement , and following our adventure. We are so THANKFUL for you and all that life provides.

We are closing in on the finish of this adorable tiny house. The cabinets arrived today and Steve is well underway installing the Pergo flooring and has finished the tile in the bathroom. We have the frame work of the built in couch installed, and the amount of storage that affords is amazing... who says living in a tiny house has to be a challenge.
Next will be installing the cabinets, the vanity in the bathroom, building the stairs ( with more storage ), and finishing the trim.
We are planning an Open House once the build is complete.
