We printed and wrapped the EMU Aerie for 📜The EMU Aerie, a mobile oral history recording booth, will be rolling out of the Halle Library parking lot for the first time this weekend. “At the EMU Archives, we want to make sure as many voices make it onto the historical record as possible, and that means tearing down barriers to preservation in any way that we can. We want to take the archives into the community, to make sure people have every opportunity to make history.”

You can check out the long journey of converting a raw, 6 x 12 cargo trailer into a history machine on their Instagram page- If you want to see the Aerie in person, we’ll be parked in front of Rynearson Stadium today from 12:30 - 3:30, recording short remembrances of alumni and faculty at the 100th anniversary of Homecoming.
