It has been way too long since I've posted some finished products on social media. But in my defense we moved our family of 5 this past summer to a bigger property and we are finally getting the new shop up and running. Although we still need to figure out HVAC 🥶.. It's COLD in PA this time of year.

I was doing a photoshoot 📸 with this beautiful custom TV stand the other day before Matt delivered her and decided she needed her time to shine!!

Back story: A friend of ours came to us with a custom design idea on paper and we were able to bring it to life. She just got done with a renovation on her first floor and I can't wait to see how she uses this piece. Sliding door, adjustable shelves and everything painted in Sherwin Williams: Black Magic. We were able to source the modern black metal legs online.

We are excited to finish up the next project and show it off soon.

Today and always we honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the U.S. armed forces. Our family will be participating in the national moment of silence at 3 p.m. by pausing and reflecting on today's significance.

We are celebrating our 12th Wedding Anniversary today!! Woohoo! I'm sure there is a wood pun somewhere here... but I'll just leave it at Happy Anniversary to us!!!

Look at this cute find in a random toolbox we were given! A teeny tiny spokeshave!! I am excited to find a way to use this on the next project!

Cleaning out the spray gun today and I had a flash back to disassembling and cleaning the soda fountain parts during my first summer job at the A&W in Lake George! Who else had the pleasure of cleaning up that stickiness before? So gross!

No woodworking workshop is complete without a mascot! Molly is our 11 year old yellow lab and she is overseeing Adirondack chair production today on the shop floor. She made a spot next to 1 of 3 giant piles of rough cut lumber we came across recently. Lots of planing today.

Do you ever just fall in love with a paint color? We've been doing some paint touch ups around the house because... we have 3 young kids. Behr's Swiss Coffee is our absolute favorite white for almost any project. You can see it here with the before/after of our amazing fireplace mantle Matt made from scratch.
