Dear Cherished Customers and Friends,
After 80 incredible years, it's with a heavy heart that we announce Homemakers Furniture and Interiors is closing its doors. This decision was not made lightly, and we are deeply appreciative for the support and loyalty from our customers, community, and team along the way.
In 1945, S.O. & Lois Smith started the business in downtown Fayetteville and their son Joel has continued their legacy of providing exceptional customer service to Fayetteville, Cumberland County, and the surrounding areas. Although this is a tough decision, Joel was presented with a unique opportunity for our home to continue serving this community, for decades to come.
Working with the Fayetteville Cumberland Economic Development Corporation and the Community Development Foundation, our Homemakers Building will soon become a center for advanced technology and defense innovation. We will leave it to them to share the details, but we are excited to be part of this transformational project.
We've shared countless memories and milestones with you, and those moments will stay with us forever. Thank you for being part of our journey.
As we wind down, we offer discounted final sales, up to 50% off the original sales price, because everything must be sold. We hope you will stop by one last time to say goodbye.
