I started this business as a hobby to sell a few picnic tables and Adirondack chairs for some extra income. I quickly realized the demand and appreciation for quality custom work. In a matter of months a grew New England Creations into a full-time job and left my career of 7 years as a chef. I enjoy working with new and returning customers to make their build their vision. For the remaining months

of 2017-

-Plans to expand from a 10X10 ft pop up shed made into a wood shop, to a 16ft X 25ft two story barn. The barn will be built by myself and the first floor will be the wood shop. The second floor will have a open floor showroom and my office will be at one end of the building. customers will be able to come and look at my current work and also discuss their orders specifics.

-Add products to our shops page that make the perfect gift for the holiday season.

2018-

We plan to get more involved with the community and organize a bi-weekly event with the local community center to get kids and teens together to learn how to do wood working and more. We believe its a skill thats just as important as knowing how to cook.

2019-

Open a two floor building that will provide space for a wood working and art supply store, community art studio, and a community wood shop. Customers will be able to rent the wood shop daily, weekly, or monthly. All tools will be provided, and supplies on hand in the store. Customers will also have the opportunity to sell their work based on a consignment agreement in the storefront. A schedule of various classes and events will be held such as paint and sips, DIY around the house classes, and basic home repair.

Our Story

Patrick started New England Creations started as a hobby to sell picnic tables as an extra source of income. He was working full time as a cook in a restaurant. Shortly after making a few orders, they began to come in at a steady pace. By the end of August 2017 he sold over 85 Picnic tables along with other orders such as Adirondack chairs.

Patrick realized there was enough demand for his work to leave his career in the restaurant industry to work full time for his company.

After the outdoor furniture season ended, he realized that not having a heated shop was an issue. One month later a two story barn was built to expand the business. Not having a market for picnic tables in the fall/winter season, Patrick began making other types of furniture such as coffee tables, shelves, dining tables and more. As of January 2018, New England Creations has hired one full time staff, and a few sub-contractors.

As the company grows, they plan on moving into a larger facility and hire more staff.
