Patrick started New England Creations started as a hobby to sell picnic tables as an extra source of income. He was working full time as a cook in a restaurant. Shortly after making a few orders, they began to come in at a steady pace. By the end of August 2017 he sold over 85 Picnic tables along with other orders such as Adirondack chairs.
Patrick realized there was enough demand for his work to leave his career in the restaurant industry to work full time for his company.
After the outdoor furniture season ended, he realized that not having a heated shop was an issue. One month later a two story barn was built to expand the business. Not having a market for picnic tables in the fall/winter season, Patrick began making other types of furniture such as coffee tables, shelves, dining tables and more. As of January 2018, New England Creations has hired one full time staff, and a few sub-contractors.
As the company grows, they plan on moving into a larger facility and hire more staff.
