Family owned since 1958, Cutlery Mania is a division of New Jersey Grinding LLC. We are proud of our humble beginnings when Angelo Collini, my father, moved to Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1956. He didn't speak a word of English but he loved his new country while holding dear to the traditions of the small town of Pinzolo in the Italian Alps that he left. One of these traditions was the knife sharpening craf

t. My Father would go through the streets of Brooklyn in his truck trying his best to make himself understood to butcher shops and restaurants that he sharpens knives. He quickly learned that America was the land of opportunity.He stumbled across another opportunity when he could buy New Jersey Grinding in Newark N.J. He would expand from just sharpening knives and scissors to selling them, along with blades for meat grinders and saws. Today we still sharpen thousands of knives a week, and in 2005 we started Cutlery Mania, a retail and online store selling brand name kitchen and hunting knives along with scissors and other butcher blades. We sell some of the same brands that my father sold from his truck to customers all over the world.
