Once in a lifetime a craftsman builds a piece that is truly priceless... I finished this crib last week for some dear friends of ours, Justin and Michelle O'Brien. The wood (cherry) was cut and milled roughly 30 years ago by Michelle's grandfather. It has been stacked in a barn for all of these years. It was an honor to build a one of a kind piece from this one of a kind wood. Through this crib may the legacy of their family live on!

The old and forgotten becomes new and dear... It was truly a pleasure to design and build this barn wood table for Bob and Mary Jane Carnie. The wood came from a barn on their sons property that was constructed circa 1840. When you stop and realize that was before the Civil War and the automobile it really puts the age of this wood into perspective. Abused for nearly two centuries yet it lives on.
