Another fan favorite, rainbow poplar! We recently completed these two countertops. Both tops feature beautiful mineral stains found in rainbow poplar along with black epoxy in natural voids. New York City here we come! Our shop just turned out this beautiful revolving door for the historic Flat Iron Building in NYC. This was done in coordination with irdgroup_inc (International Revolving Door) in Evansville. We recreated the original revolving door down the the smallest details. We made resin castings of all the original carvings. We then had roadrunner_woodworks 3D scan and mill the awesome replica carvings on their CNC mill. This job is not our first revolving door. Our founder Joe has built 50 wooden revolving doors over his vast career. We can’t wait to see what our future holds!

Something different, something sentimental! We recently completed work on this large poplar dining table. A sentimental journey: we recently had the pleasure of crafting this oak slab into a beautiful pub table. This slab was brought to us by customers. The tree had been planted when their house was originally built. When a new addition required the tree to be removed, they chose to preserve its legacy. Now, part of that tree will live on inside the new addition where it once grew.

This table features black epoxy in all natural voids with a clear bar coat epoxy finish, supported by our standard pub pedestal base.
