Took some time and made some much needed roll around work tables. One is a sanding station and the other has my mortise machine and router table.

Finished up another project. My friend and neighbor asked if I could make a memory bench for him. She had a love for horses. So I went to work on the old horse stall wood that I got the her old horse stalls. Come to find out it was rough sawn oak. That is one of the many things as a woodworker you get to see. The wood transform from one look to another. Here are some pictures of the process. Thank you Phillip Jeffries for the opportunity. I used Total boat epoxy thickset for the hearts and Total boat Halcyon for the top coat.

I am in the process of kiln drying maple wood. This lumber will ultimately be used to produce beautiful tables, shelves, fireplace surrounds, and similar items. The wood will be available in 4/4 x 6in and 8in wide planks, as well as 8/4 slabs.
