A very cool piece just arrived at the shop. Hard to tell the style because many pieces are missing. The unique Knapp dovetail joints indicate late 1800s. Probably made in New England.

1930-1950s swivel rocker. Another great family chair get reupholstered instead of going to the dump. Hurray!

Our Story

CDM Furniture is owned and operated by Carl Maloney. Carl has been refinishing and reupholstering furniture since 1994.

After a five-year apprenticeship at a busy upholstery and refinishing shop in Pennsylvania, Carl started his own furniture restoration and repair business.

In 2010 Carl uprooted to Eureka, California and after working at a local upholstery shop for a few years re-opened CDM Furniture in 2014.
