Tan Oak mantle getting started. Started out as a 4x8 rough sawn timber and will be a 5x6 when complete. I believe in saving resources so this will have a spruce core from our local forest. The timber is FSC but the chain was broken when I purchased cause I am not FSC certified.

Customer had a 4x8 tan oak timber and wanted a 4x10 mantle so we made a it happen.
