Woodworking: Dovetail Joints For Drawer Boxes

We learned to make our dovetails using the harbor freight jig. I must admit it was a bit tricky to setup initially, partially due to not being familiar with making dovetails. Now we’re dialed in. This is a great, inexpensive entry level jig to learn on. Recently I have been practicing hand cut dovetails and will be introducing those soon into my designs. Until then, Lil’ Ol’ Blue will get us through. Let me know if you have any questions regarding this jig, here to answer them!

Furniture Making: Installing the Table Base and Building the Dovetail Drawer

Nearing the finish line with our White Oak kitchen table built out. Getting our base dialed in and finishing the drawer design. Next we will be adding the drawer and towel bar for a final look!
