As a teenager in the 60’s, I collected cobalt blue glass and McCoy pottery buying from garage sales (wish I still owned these since the pendulum has swung back in their favor)! Since then I have been involved with antique stores. I even operated one myself called “The Plantique” stationed out of a greenhouse/storefront. For many years a former partner and I ran a part time auction house. We refinished furniture and resold at auction.
Additionally I was a Longaberger consultant for over 25 years. I still hold a sale every summer selling from my personal collection and some one of a kind and not commonly seen baskets.
One of my former residences was a century home that I decorated in the Victorian style. It also was a perfect setting for my collection of Ohio based salt glazed blue and white stoneware collection. Wintering in Florida, my condo is decorated in a coastal farmhouse style.
Vintage and antiques are in my blood, as well as in my bloodline. My sister, Nancy, Bob, and my brother, Ron, are all part of the 814 Vintage Marketplace so why not Cookie’s Corner? I feel that Sandi, Courtney and Keith have also become family.
So as you can tell, I have always had the interest and desire to 💕give old things new life.💕

🌿 Meet Betty! 🌿

Betty might call herself a “dusty ol’ girl,” but I’m seeing cottagecore charm and farmhouse vibes! 🏡🤎 There’s just something about these pieces that makes you want to get cozy and find the perfect little treasure for your home.

And please excuse our sound effects department! 😂 Between the shopping carts, hand dryers, and our own commentary, recording this was an adventure. 🙄😅 At this point, I feel like a blooper reel may be a future post!

Jim is our go-to guy for all things fishing! And while I can’t understand half of what he’s saying in this video 😅, I’m learning a thing or two from him and our resident collector, Andy. One of these days, I might actually know what I’m talking about!

Zach and I have been selling for about 4 years but have been each collecting all our lives.
We collect vintage and antique Halloween decorations, VHS tapes, specifically horror tapes, MCM decor and 80s-90s pop culture items.
We have 4 dogs, Stella, Josie, Sidney and Pearl.
