When it comes to remote car starters in the Erie, Pa area, we have technicians that have been with us since 1999! WE have dealer level capability with your GM, FORD, Chrysler, Dodge, and JEEP vehicle! Installations are also performed at ENORMIS in clean and well-organized install bays. Each bay has a large drainage system allowing us to keep your car clean and dry in the winter, and that prevents us from having to work in poor conditions. ENORMIS uses sophisticated computer programs to help us install complicated electronics no matter how NEW your car is. In June of 1999 ENORMIS was opened. Although the business was new the knowledge to run a First Class Operation was already there.

Your battery is 50% less powerful at 0⁰. (Not a problem with a newer healthy battery)
A remote start may not want to start your car if your battery is weak. 🥶 BUT, your vehicle could still start the "normal" way with a weak battery. This is not a problem with the remote start.
It's a problem with the battery.

Not sure about your battery condition?
You can get your battery checked for free at O'Reilly Auto Parts AutoZone and Advance Auto Parts .

In the meantime, you could wrap a warmed battery with a small blanket and shut the hood to maintain warmth.
Or, if you have on old incandescent work light (not LED) you could place that near the battery to keep it warm.
Ultimately the best thing is a newer fully charged battery.

Healthy batteries don't usually last longer than 4or 5 years. (Yes we know, uncle Joe's 10 yr old battery works fine)

It happened again. A Nurse has it already in her 2025 Honda. But, it doesn't reach her suv! She thought she was stuck with it. Nope!
She didn't want another app on her phone. No problem, we got her a small remote that can reach her vehicle and a little green light tells her it started.

"My factory remote start only works short distances"
"My factory remote start only runs my car for short time and I can't restart it (by remote) until I go out to my car".
"I have no windows at work, so I can't tell if my factory start has started my car".
