The home town of Dusty Wolf Woodworking. A small farming town, that is close to Seattle but it's far enough away to hear birds chirping instead of sirens blaring. I have been in the construction trades all my life. I learned house framing at an early age from my father who was a successful framing contractor for many years. After high school I began the journey of becoming a commercial electrician
. After passing the journeyman's exam and completing trade school, I quickly climbed the ladder at a local electrical contractor and was soon running crews and large projects. In my early 20's I purchased my first house...and with that I had to learn how to fix things. Many, many things needed fixing and instead of paying someone else to do it, I learned to do it myself. Early on I realized that I really enjoyed working with wood. The feel of a freshly sanded board, the smell of fresh cut cedar, the aroma of finish being applied. Woodworking not only gives me a sense of accomplishment, but it's an enjoyable journey. To see a few boards take shape and progress from a pile of lumber to a piece of furniture that is not only aesthetically pleasing and functional, and know it's something that will last generations brings me great pleasure. I hope to pass along this enjoyment to my customers. My greatest hope is that you enjoy the pieces I've created for you as much as I've enjoyed making them.
