We love a challenge… but this one pushed the limits.

When we first saw the measurements for this island, we knew it wasn’t going to be an ordinary install. This wasn’t just a large island, it was the largest island we’ve ever installed, cut from a single slab with absolutely NO seam.

Most people don’t realize what goes into something like this. The slab was so massive that it wouldn’t even fit in our trailer. We had to source a completely different trailer and custom-build an A-frame just to transport it safely.

And to make things even more interesting? This was granite, one of the heaviest natural stones available.

At several points, it would’ve been easier to say, “That’s too big,” or “Let’s split it with a seam.” But that’s not how we do things.

With careful planning, the right equipment, and a few extra sets of hands, we made it happen. One solid piece. No seam. No compromises.

The result? A show-stopping island that instantly becomes the centerpiece of the entire home.

Projects like this remind us why we love what we do. The bigger the challenge, the more rewarding it is when everything comes together perfectly.
