When you contact a company (like mine) and they give you a price (like I did to Mike) and you don't like the price (like Mike) think of this, that company has a building to pay for (rent/lease/payment), insurance, utilities, product, employees, etc. If you don't like that price you have a couple options, #1, call around and find someone who is in your price range. #2, buy all the stuff and do it yourself. #3, not like it and pay it anyway.
If you are in a business like Mike, just remember that next time you place a bid on a load. The carrier may not like your price and they will either #1, not like it and pay it anyway. #2, call around and find someone who will do it cheaper. Of #3, go out of business because they can't do it for free.
Either way, it's up to you.
Have a great day Mike!
