Something for everyone...

For the guests, a second island.

For the chefs, four ovens and a cooktop.

For the dog, a lit and water-proof food and water niche.

Finally, for the view that couldn't be wasted, we removed what was just a small window near the fireplace, installed a beam and then installed a massive, folding Bonelli door.

Very proud to have the chance to work for incredible clients on an incredible project.

Inspired by a deep blue traditional high gloss kitchen they'd seen at in a showroom on the east coast, these Santa Fe based clients wanted a similar aesthetic for the bathroom vanity in His bath. We matched the door style in our shop using a CNC'd HDF and worked tirelessly to find a deep and dynamic blue that seems to change with every shift in light and angle.
There's "high gloss" and there's "PPG automotive clear coat high gloss".
We applied color and initial clear coats and the final sanding / clear coats were applied in the same booth by the same incredibly skilled painters doing the best exotic collision work in the region.
One of the coolest parts? While it appears elegant and frankly delicate, it's every bit as durable and stable as the finish on a car.

Being limited on space to work with doesn't have to mean the design has to be limited on fun! It's often constraints that result in the most creative solutions for storage, functionality and character. And this kitchen is the perfect example on all accounts, with hidden storage, a functional workflow and big personality that perfectly fits the client and their home.
