Did you know that before Ben became a mattress tester extraordinaire, his teenage self lettered in chess and bowling?… a combo that really tells you everything you need to know. 🤓🎳♟️

Ben’s been playing the long game since high school and was already giving main-character energy: strategic, steady, always thinking a few moves ahead… and aiming for the perfect strike.

We never planned on being San Diego’s #1 mattress store.
I was a speech-language pathologist. Ben was a public librarian. We loved our work…we just couldn’t make the numbers work. Two kids, daycare costs, and a lot of late-night conversations led to a mattress review blog… which led to showrooms… which led to closing stores during the 😷 … then reopening… and rebuilding everything from scratch.

Today, Yawnder is our family’s second chapter. Built on honesty, service, and making sleep easier for real people.

We’re grateful to be here. And we’re grateful you’re here with us.
