A pretty special one for us here at Piney Hollow!

We recently had the opportunity to create this custom Long Island hardwood award plaque honoring Brandon Bussi of the Carolina Hurricanes as the Suffolk County Sportsperson of the Year.

Seeing a piece that was made right here in our Pennsylvania shop presented alongside the Stanley Cup was something we certainly won’t forget and seeing it featured in the New York Post made it even better!

A big thank you to Suffolk Sports for trusting Piney Hollow Wood Craft with this award and giving us the opportunity to be a small part of such a special event. We truly appreciate it.

Love seeing our work being put to use!

We recently built this custom catch board for Netfish and Chill, designed to display the day’s catch and put their charter front and center in every customer photo.

27 custom hardwood awards headed to the Traditional Bowhunters of Georgia State Shoot.

This is our third year building plaques for the event, and honestly projects like this are exactly why we built Piney Hollow.

There’s something special about taking rough hardwood and turning it into awards people will hang onto for years. Every plaque goes through our in-house production process—from CNC cutting and engraving to hand finishing and final inspection—allowing us to produce large custom runs while still keeping the craftsmanship and character of real wood.

No plastic trophies. No generic imports. Just American hardwood, clean design, and awards that actually feel earned.

Turkey plaques are in full production. 🦃

Over the years, we’ve continued to refine and streamline our manufacturing systems here at Piney Hollow. What started as one-off builds has turned into a dialed-in process—allowing us to produce consistent, high-quality plaques in volume while still keeping that handcrafted feel.

I’m now offering wildlife laser file bundles that are designed, tested, and burned in-house. Production-ready files built for real laser work.

The first two bundles are live:
• Deer Bundle
• Bear Bundle

Files include PDF & SVG formats and are ready for engraving or cutting.
