before the frame goes up, everyone signs a peg.

those pegs become part of the structure and part of the story. years from now, those names will still be inside the frame at sno hill chapel.

every raising has a few traditions. this one might be my favorite.

a quick update for anyone interested in learning timber framing.

we've decided to add a september ready to build class to the schedule. we're still finalizing the details, but expect registration to open sometime late next week.

if you'd like first notification when registration opens, make sure you're on our email list and keep an eye on the website.

we also had a cancellation, which means we currently have one opening in our june 17 class.

our classes are intentionally small. each class is led by two instructors and limited to 6–8 students so everyone gets plenty of hands-on experience and individual attention.

if you've been thinking about taking a class, this may be a good opportunity.
