Great design goes beyond the doorway.

For the first stop in our Barausse Beyond Borders series, we’re heading to Penticton, British Columbia, for a look inside a private vacation home at Apex Mountain Ski Resort.

Throughout the residence, Barausse doors become part of the architecture itself. SECRET flush-to-wall doors with YOU panels were finished on-site with decorative plaster, allowing the doors to blend seamlessly into the surrounding walls.

The result balances warm alpine character with clean contemporary detailing—showing how doors can help shape the entire visual language of a space rather than simply separate one room from another.

Great design travels well.

For the next stop in our Cesar Around the World series, we’re heading to Vancouver Island, Canada, for a look inside Sea Mist House.

Set along the Salish Sea, this waterfront residence pairs calm, contemporary architecture with Cesar’s Maxima 2.2 Collection. Clean lines, refined detailing, and a restrained material palette allow the stone backsplash, natural light, and expansive ocean views to remain at the center of the design.

The kitchen was created in collaboration with PlaidFox Studio and Cesar Vancouver Flagship Store, resulting in a space that feels connected to the surrounding coastline while maintaining the understated Italian design Cesar is known for.

Swipe through for a closer look at Sea Mist House and another example of how Cesar design takes on a unique character wherever it goes.

Great design travels well.

For the first stop in our look at Cesar projects beyond Colorado, we’re heading to Austin, Texas.

This project is a great example of how Cesar cabinetry can adapt to the architecture and personality of a space, bringing together thoughtful materials, clean lines, and the refined Italian design the brand is known for.

We love seeing how Cesar is interpreted in different homes and markets.

Doors can do a lot more than simply open and close a room.

From nearly invisible transitions to statement-making movement, Barausse offers a range of door systems designed to work with the architecture of a space, not just sit within it.

In this carousel, we’re highlighting four different approaches:
• Secret for a clean, concealed look
• RIV-ON/NG for a streamlined slab-style door
• FILA for a modern take on the barn door
• Folding for flexible openings that maximize space

Each system brings together function, material, and Italian design in a different way.

Swipe through for a closer look at each style and see how the right door can completely change the way a space feels and functions.

Meet one of Cesar’s : Rovere Trama.

Designed to bring another layer of texture and depth to the space, Rovere Trama gives the natural character of oak a distinctive woven effect inspired by the materiality of fabric. In varying lights, the texture creates subtle changes in tone, dimension, and movement.

Paired with Cesar’s Unit and boiserie system, it’s a beautiful example of how material, function, and Italian design can work together as one cohesive space.

Four expressions of Italian kitchen design. One unmistakable brand Cesar Kitchen.

Intarsio reinterprets the character of wood through contrasting grain directions, strong geometry, and an architectural approach to proportion.

N_Elle is defined by clean, monolithic forms, refined 45° profiles, and a minimalist sense of lightness.

Maxima 2.2 is built around versatility, modularity, and an extensive range of finishes that allow each kitchen to take on its own identity.

Tangram breaks away from traditional straight lines with curved elements, fluid compositions, and distinctive details designed to create movement throughout the space.

Different personalities. Different possibilities. All designed around the way people live.
