We are beyond excited to announce that Erma’s Sweet Rolls is RETURNING to the Illinois State Fair in 2026! August 13th - 23rd.

We cannot wait to be back in Springfield serving up all of your favorite sweet treats, seeing familiar faces, and making new memories.

From fresh, made from scratch cinnamon rolls to all the fair-time excitement, we are counting down the days!

📍 You can find us on the north side of the Dairy Building across from the carnival entrance!

🎡 WE ARE OFFICIALLY 50 DAYS AWAY! 🎡

Our first event of the 2026 season kicks off at the Western Illinois Fair in Griggsville, and we couldn’t be more excited!

We’re looking forward to getting the season started and meeting all of the wonderful people Tom and Maggie have told us so much about. ❤️

First, let me say…I (Maggie) wanted to upload a photo for this post but there’s no way I could choose. Looking back, there are pics I forgot about, pics I don’t remember taking, and pics that make me smile or cry. We’ve had the absolute best time with you all. We’ve also lost too many special people along the way. The reminiscing is unbelievable.

Here is what Erma’s 2026 schedule is looking like…

Schuyler County Fair in Rushville,
IL June 28-July 4
Georgetown Fair in Georgetown, IL July 11-18
National Sweetcorn Festival in Hoopeston, IL September 3-7
McFerren Park in Hoopeston, IL “TBD”
Parke County Covered Bridge Festival in Bridgeton, IN October 9-18

In addition: we hope to set up in Wabash Park in New Berlin, IL but no date yet as we are waiting to see about another large fair that could alter the dates.

Tom and I want to thank each and every one of you for your business, your friendship, and your generosity.

I will be assigning this page to the new owners soon but want to remind you that we will be on the road with them. It’ll be almost like nothing has changed. We can’t wait to visit with you. Come by and see us and meet Skip and Amanda.

From our family to yours, we want to wish you the Merriest of Christmases. 🎄
As we bring in the new year…you know the old adage…”out with the old and in with the new?” This post will prove that it’s never been truer.
Skip & Amanda Coffey have purchased Erma’s Sweet Rolls. Don’t panic. We will be training them for a seamless transition. You’ll see us on the road next year. We will be travelling to train and assist them.
It’s going to be tough as we have developed unbelievable relationships and friendships. Our ‘road’ family was there when our family couldn’t be and you’ll never know how much you all have touched our hearts. So many members of fair boards that made our road life more comfortable. You know who you are. We wouldn’t dare list you all because it would be tragic to miss one.
And the fellow concessionaires that we’ve become friends with. From helping each other when someone is broken down along side of the road, to an occasional nice dinner out before the fair started, and the offers to stay on their property while you were staging for the next event. We have met the most amazing, generous, and helpful folks in the industry. As they say, “The Fair Family is a Special Breed.”
And our customers!! We do what we do because of YOU! We have really enjoyed getting to know you. You have supported us and the fairs/festivals tremendously and we are forever grateful! WHAT A RIDE!!!
Skip and Amanda have been in the ‘Independent Concessionaire’ field for many years. Amanda is even THIRD generation. They have offered quality food in their other trailer and are dedicated to keeping the quality and integrity of Erma’s and the products we’ve provided.
We hope you will welcome them as you have us. It’s been an amazing 11 years. We have met the greatest of people and will miss you all.
So be sure to come out and see us this next summer season and welcome the new owners. Life takes unexpected turns and we couldn’t be happier with the folks that will continue the legacy.

Erma’s 2025 season has come to an abrupt halt. Sorry to anyone who was saving today for their visit for our cinnamon rolls but we cannot be open.
Thanks to all of you for making this year a success and we can’t wait to see you next year. Until then, be safe and bring me a boat 🛶 . Lol

We’re almost ready for the Covered Bridge.

We're only a couple more sunrises away from the 2025 Parke County Covered Bridge Festival. Be sure to stop by Creek Side Acres @ 3200 E. Hawkins Rd, Bridgeton.

We've got a tremendous selection of craft and food vendors.
There is something for everyone and you won't leave hungry that's for sure.
