This is a new yard wagon that I built for my mother. I figured it was the least I could do since I pancaked her old one with a palm tree I took down for her.
It wasn't easy but I managed to save the wheels and tires off her old one and use them on the new one. Talk about beating the snot out of something, but I was able to get them reshaped good enough to actually hold air and roll again.
Rhonda came up with the creative names, the "Mudder Martha" and the "Yard Yankee", did the staining and painted the names on. Great job. She's so clever and quite creative.

Available for sale to the general public as a personalized vessel or a plane ole everyday yard cart.

Turned the place into a virtual sawmill today so to have wood for the table top of a table that we just started. What a mess, but in the end it's all good because the sawdust and wood chips serve as excellent food for the Orchids that will be implemented into the Woodkn'ts project coming up. Good stuff!

1. Bottom Left, the Rocker arrives at the shop.

2. Bottom Right, we go to work tearing it down.

3. Upper Right, stripped, sanded, repaired and ready for stain.

4. Upper Left, refinished but not quite finished. Waiting on the leather now and this rocker will be complete and one very nice piece, if I do say so myself.

A couple of new projects this week for Crooked Nail: The fan was a rusty, beat up old thing that didn't run, needed to be re-wired and cleaned up. So, I took it apart, wired it and started cleaning it real good before reassembling and noticed that instead of painting it again, why not sand it completely down and go from bare bones resources and see what we come up with. You see the results. Pretty cool we think.

Oooops, almost forgot to post this beautiful bedroom suit that we restored. Originally cost about $6-7,000, for sale now at Crooked Nail Creations for only $1500. You have to see this one to
appreciate it. Comes with two night stands, king size four poster bed with metal ornamental cross bracing for canopy, large dresser and mirror. This one wont last folks, grab it while you can.

Well, we've been down for a while but don't ever count us out. We're back with new ideas and some new creations.
Baskets are popular these days and with Rhonda's "Emerald Thumb" she makes them Oh so Beautiful. We will also be making Christmas baskets and centerpiece's for the holidays. Get your orders in now since they are made by hand and from scratch they can be time consuming.

We've added some pics of floral arrangement baskets that we make just because they're so pretty but what I think is the coolest thing going is the aged wood that we've rescued and brought back to life. These pieces are very unique and range in size from 6 to 8" coffee table or end table size to around 5 or 6'. They look great free standing, hanging on a wall or maybe even lying on the fireplace mantle for something a little different. The really cool thing is the life that has been breathed back into them by making them actual planters for Ferns, Air Plants, Mushrooms, etc. and they need to be cared for as you would a house plant. There are a few pics of them here as well but we have many more that are in the works already.
