Summer camp core memories: face paint you didn’t plan on, a horse that likes you more than your own dog does, and a worship night that hits different by day six.

If you know, you know. 🌲

Spots for the Mother/Daughter Retreat are going FAST.

Here’s what you’re actually signing up for:
Holding hands on the trail.
Trading phones for worship.
Screaming on a zip line together.
Smelling like a horse for two straight days.
New friends over volleyball before breakfast is even over.

Kinda chic to already have this booked.

🎃 Fall Fest + Pumpkin Walk Update 🎃

We’re sorry to announce that we need to cancel the Pumpkin Walk this year. We’re grateful for everyone who has supported this event over the years and hope to evaluate the possibility of bringing it back in fall 2027.

Some dreams take a few summers to grow into. 🥹🌲

Two girls who used to walk these same paths hoping to make staff one day — now doing it side by side. Full circle doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Tag the person you dream of being on summer staff with one day 👇

Drift is the default. Intention is a decision.

Nobody plans to be a distracted dad. It happens one busy week at a time, and before long your son is being shaped by everything except you.

Being in the house isn’t the same as forming your son. It looks like marking moments, naming who he’s becoming, and telling him you’re proud of him before he’s earned a thing.

You can’t do that at 60 miles an hour. It takes a threshold, something that says this weekend matters.

That’s the Father/Son Retreat at Camp Timber-lee, November 13-15.

Zip lines. Horses. Campfires. Chapel. Two days with your son and no screens, and no one asking you to have it all figured out. You just have to show up.

Some things a boy only hears from his dad, and they land better when you’re doing something side by side.

Ages 9+. All meals and activities included.
Register at the link in bio, or call: 262-642-7345 with questions.

Tag a dad who needs this on his calendar. 👇

📣….calling ALL CAMPERS!!
(alumni + parents too)

Every summer, something happens in the cabins at Camp Timber-lee that’s hard to explain.

A college student takes on a group of campers for a week. By Friday, those campers have a role model.

Maybe yours taught you to paddle a canoe. 🛶
Maybe they sat with you when you were homesick. 🤒 Maybe they’re the reason you came back the next summer, and the one after that. 🏕️

We’re collecting stories about cabin leaders who made a difference. Campers, alumni, and parents are all welcome to share.

📩 DM us your story by [DATE].
Tell us your cabin leader’s name, the year, and what they meant to you.

📸 Photos are welcome!
(Campers under 18, have a parent send it in.)

And do this too: tag your cabin leader in the comments. They deserve to know. 💙

This morning, Brian Ogne passed into the arms of Jesus.

What a God-honoring life he lived, and what an incredible legacy he leaves behind.

Brian served at Camp Timber-lee for decades, pouring his life into this place and into the thousands of campers and staff who walked through our gates.

His impact is woven into the very fabric of Timber-lee. He helped shape a camp where young people could encounter Christ, experience God's creation, build lifelong friendships, and discover who they were created to be. Countless campers and staff members were changed because Brian chose to faithfully invest in this ministry.

And while we deeply grieve his passing, we rejoice in the hope we have in Jesus. We were able to spend his final earthly moments with him, and we are overjoyed knowing that his mind and body are now fully healed. He is home, rejoicing and laughing with his Savior.

Brian's time at Timber-lee may have come to an end, but his legacy will live on here forever—in the stories, the traditions, the people, and the countless lives he touched.

We are incredibly grateful for the life he lived, the faith he modeled, and the years he gave to Camp Timber-lee.

“Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.”

Matthew 25:23

We know there are thousands of stories of Brian and Timber-lee that we have yet to hear. If Brian was part of your Timber-lee story, we would love for you to share it below. Tell us about a moment you remember, something Brian taught you, a way he impacted your life, or simply a favorite memory of him.

Let's fill this space with the stories that show just how much one faithful life can impact generations.

Please join us in praying for Brian's family and all those who loved him. We know that while we mourn his absence, Brian is experiencing the fullness of the hope he spent his life proclaiming.
