Kids Rooms! More than just a place to sleep, these spaces house toys and electronics and, of course , provide areas to work and play. Select furniture to grow on. They won’t stay small forever, so this 3 tiered desk shelf was restyled and placed over the dresser. The piece was refreshed with Pure White and Antoinette by Annie Sloan. The bottom is a cork board to pin artwork and pictures that hold special memories.

A BLANK CANVAS! The brick wall with a vaulted ceiling is the statement in this living room, which was previously whitewashed. To update the interior a new mantle was installed and painted a soft white and lightly paint distressed with grey tones as seen in the brick. The pink blush accents in the pillows and rug pickup the same tones in the brick as well. Thank you Interior Designer Kerry Shorrock of Crystal Barn Interiors for the opportunity to work together once again. The room looks amazing!

This blonde beauty dresser has modern features that needed a fresh new style, with paint in a soft white. To elevate the light color, we paint distressed the existing wooden k***s and bamboo mirror, and applied a blend of metallic waxes in silver, copper, and gold to add interest below and above this piece, and brings a new design element to the room.

🍂 𝓕𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽𝓼!
After the Dining room project was completed we moved on to the kitchen which was recently remodeled with some new cabinetry painted soft white. The glass cabinet in the breakfast nook felt heavy, so the objective was to create a painted finish that blends with the Ballard’s Design table. The exterior was painted a soft white then applied a warm grey wash. The interior was painted French Linen by Annie Sloan, and sealed with a lacquer finish for protection and durability. A mix of white pottery and vintage dish ware are displayed beautifully.

During the Fall season, my furniture and home projects have consisted of refreshing dining rooms, bedrooms, kitchen cabinets and fireplaces. As we find ourselves spending more time at home, think of how each room makes you feel. Before: This dining room needed some lighting( highlighting) to create some bright contrast/accents on the furniture pieces. Changing the chandelier over the table added a modern farmhouse vibe to the room. Hutch hardware is shining with metallic wax finish. Small changes made a big impact on this refresh project!

This summer my clients are refreshing their rooms as they spend more time at home, as seen in the Before & After pictures. The 1960’s brick fireplace now has a lighter and brighter look by whitewashing the brick a soft white and painting the mantel. This technique is a great way to add contrast against the natural wood shiplap paneled walls.

Before: Bar Cart. This mid-century meets Mediterranean cabinet with a leather surface functions as a bar cart in this dining room. Over the winter the room was repainted, staged with new and existing accessories, now this piece needs some updating.

After: Bar Cart Cabinet was Painted a pure white which brings out the leather surface top which complements the new hardware finished in dark bronze. The transitional design style gives it a whole new vibe.

Lake George NY- When space is limited in a cottage, use a wall to create a piece that is both functional and fun. The boat cleats and colors add a nautical vibe, the wallboard was made custom by my husband. The guest bedroom now has a place to hang towels or sweatshirts.

After: This entry hall table needed a pop of color to blend with the interior, rugs, and craftsman’s design style. Unfortunately, due to COVID exterior photos were our only option. Painted Aubusson Blue, accented with warm metallic wax elevates this table with a touch of glamour.
