I started Three Trees Custom Furniture to share my love of woodworking and to build quality, custom furniture, and wood products that can be handed down to your grandchildren. I subscribe to the buy better, buy less philosophy and make products with a preference for environmentally friendly materials and finishes. I can provide free-standing furniture, built-in cabinets, mantles, and small wood it
ems, such as promotional boxes, watch boxes and more. I grew up in an 1840's (or older) farmhouse under constant renovation, all done by my family. My father did much of the carpentry and woodwork and mom learned to wire the house and mud and sand drywall. Porches were added and barns were built. My dad built my first workbench when I was 6, which came with a real hammer and saw. Eventually I was also working around the house, I worked construction jobs in high school, and I worked in residential remodeling after college. Now I prefer to use my experience making furniture that will remain in a family. That is why I started Three Trees Custom Furniture. My goal is to build your family a unique piece based on your imagination and our plans. You can envision your new dining table, nightstand, liquor cabinet, bathroom vanity, or bookshelf and together we will pick out material and finishes and bring it to life. Sketches and renderings are available to help you visualize your new heirloom. Wherever possible I build products from woods harvested in North America and plywood products made domestically. With the customer’s input, I prefer finishes that include natural plant-based oils, waxes, and low or no V.O.C., waterborne coatings. I use time-tested construction techniques so your items will last for generations. Contact me to start your project.
