I wish I knew this when I started- “Refinishing chairs will always take FOREVER!”

The small details & the curved surfaces are enough to drive one mad! I truly have gone mental because I knew chairs are the worst and I still said YES to this commission 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hot Take: I give all my pieces names because as statements they deserve proper recognition! It’s not just furniture, I pour my soul each unique piece I make and get to know its intimate details. Sometimes when I take drawers out I get a glimpse of the past lives these pieces have lived! I honor each of them by naming them- much like I did with each stuffed animal I had as a girl! Honestly, I feel like I put so much more care into them when they have a name!

✨ The Final Reveal! ✨

Check out this vintage standing mirror that’s undergone a stunning transformation! With new hardware, a fresh stain, and a touch of creativity on the back, she’s ready to find a new home. How often do we really look at the back of a mirror? Maybe if they looked this good, we’d check more often! 😉

The best part? This beauty was free! Not only did I save it from the landfill, but I also made it more beautiful than ever. I absolutely love sustainable art! 🌱
