I was asked to make a table out of this 1940s luggage trunk that was used on a passenger ship. Still had the original stickers on with the previous owners name and it was showing its age. With some TLC and some work it's now the vision that it was given to me with. Per Renee's request it was left a bit "crusty". The inside was braced to accept the new legs and a false bottom was put in. The loose leather was glued back on and it was carefully cleaned and sealed. To top it off it was topped with a piece of polished edge glass. Thank you Renee for trusting me with this project and all that you do for those around you. You rock !

Another job completed. This beautiful Amish made oak table was refinished using a minwax stain and sealed with a semigloss lacquer which was also a minwax product. The chair legs were repaired using epoxy to ensure a longer and stronger bond and had new glides attached to them. Thank you Tammy and Bob for giving us the chance to work on this beautiful piece of furniture.

We at Hidden Treasures had the pleasure of getting to work on a 1920's sidebar . The top was severely water damaged but the majority of the piece was in great shape. Repairs were made and the customer chose this beautiful color from Sherman Williams. The drawers were reconditioned to bring back the natural beauty. As of now we are awaiting the new glass k**b pulls for the drawers and cabinet doors.( We will post these photos when its completed). This will make a great piece in any home. If you have a piece of furniture large or small that needs some new life give us a call and let's see what we can do for you.

We had the pleasure to take a diamond in the ruff and turn it into something special here at Hidden Treasures a few weeks ago.when this arrived it was gloss painted and no top. The hinges were painted and the hardware needed brought back to life. With some work this was the end result. The top was made from different wood types and stained in a red maghonogy and coated with a satin lacquer. The the base was done with a signature paint from Valspar. Thank you Barb and Nancy Birds of a Feather Interiors in Altoona for giving us the opportunity to do this for you. Stop in and see them and take this piece home.

One of our more recent projects. This came in and needed some love. The top was stripped down to the bare wood and the grain was beautiful, so a satin lacquer finish was applied. The base has a customer chosen beautiful custom red from Valspar and the was sealed with the same lacquer finish as the top.. Thanks Ana for trusting us with your piece.

Had a few drawers leftover from a previous project and instead of throwing them away we decided to get creative and make something different .. They were painted with a black chalk paint and sealed with a satin sealer wax. The inside was painted with a custom red valspar paint and new pulls were added.
We here at hidden treasures would love to do something unique for you.

We had this very unique piece of early folk furniture come into the shop for a bit of a makeover. It was done using a Minwax dark walnut stain and painted over with a custom red valspar paint . A light distress was added and then sealed with a matte lacquer finish. Thank you for letting us work on a fun piece.

Had these chairs come in to be repaired. One chair had the seat broken down the middle and one had split on the top and going down the side. We were able to fix both and then match the stain and re-polyurethane them and giving them many more years of use.

We had a wonderful opportunity to work on this wonderful cedar chest made by the West Branch Novelty Company. This piece is entirely made of cedar down to the trim. Over the years the varnish had broken down and some of the trim had broken . We were able to remove the old finish and repair the broken pieces. It was refinished in a satin Minwax Lacquer and hand rubbed between coats. Thanks Lynn for trusting us to bring this beautiful piece back to life.
