We will help you determine a date on which your move will take place. We will communicate with appropriate persons at your new residence to ensure that it is move-in ready, notify the appropriate utility companies to terminate services at your old residence and advise them of the need to commence services at your new residence, and change your address with the U.S. Postal Service and the subscription departments of magazines or other publications to which you subscribe. •Documentation. We will document and ensure that your estate is in proper order, e.g., insurance policies, powers of attorney, individual health plans, and living wills and testaments. •Prepare home to be sold. We will contact reputable realty companies from which you can choose to provide listing services in order to sell your home. We will stage, unclutter, and clean your home to get it ready to sell. We will also provide advice for repairs and/or improvements that will help you receive the best price for your home. •Inventory belongings. Our unique software enables us to inventory all your belongings and categorize them on a web-based system. Through a secure log-in, family members and close friends can view the inventory list from anywhere in the world. So no matter the distance, family and friends can be involved in your move almost as if they were right here with you. •Sort belongings. We will help you decide what to keep, what to sell, what to throw away, and what to give away and to whom (i.e., family member, charity). We will take care of the shipping and hauling for your items as well. •Sell unwanted items. We will help determine the most advantageous manner in which to sell those items that you decide you do not want. This could include an estate sale, auction or selling items on the Internet—whatever method gets you the best price for your items. •Pack and deliver. We work with qualified licensed and insured movers to move household goods, furnishings, and such other personal property from your current residence to your new home. •Clean. We will clean out and clean up your old residence as well as your new home if needed. •Unpack and settle.
