Repaired the finish and added three coats of lacquer. We designed an additional file compartment to hold an extra computer and the current files we are working on. I modified the base to slide further under a recliner or a couch. This work station design far surpasses the work stands available it the furniture stores.

The first coat of finish yesterday. Have a problem with the stain. The surface turned blotchy with large white spots. I will have to sand it off and start over.

Our computer tables are comming together. I will make a small change tomarrow. I will shorten the length of the base to move the table in closer to the recliner. We will also add a rack to the legs to store a computer or hold a few files.

The computer stands are in construction now. Using a spline system to fasten the 2" strips together. I centered the splines so they can't be seen on the edge of the tops. Will be finishing next week. Hope to have all of them ready by the 20th.

Corner wine cabinet is the next project. Have to meet with the clients next saturday. Have to complete the final design and any changes before we can start cutting material

I will build a set of cabinet doors while the design work for the other job takes place. We will go to the mill for oak this week.

Back in the shop this week. Just finished a job outside the shop. I did a repair job. New trim, and a repair to an oak staircase. I also rebuilt the seat on an oak boot trunk. The damage was caused by a dog chewing on the corner. I will be building a wine cabinet and repairing a bay window seat. The design phase is underway as we speak.

Material came in yesterday for a cabinet door job. I will go to the mill tomarrow for the oak for the frames.

First coat of poly on the computer stand this morning. At least 2 more coats to go. I have to complete it by friday. Will ship on friday. Pictures to follow.

The first computer stand got a coat of stain today. Will start polyurathane, tomarrow. I have to have it finished by Saturday morning so it can be shipped out. I also shipped a repair job this afternoon. The wind last week busted this wishing well pretty bad. The base was still in shape, but the upper section was all smashed up.

Made the top for the computer stand today. Will do the sanding tomarrow. I have four 3" corbals to make for top support. Then it's finishing time.
