Dave frequently finds amazing vintage pieces and mixes old with new. An old sewing table mixed with beautiful stained walnut to make an amazing side. The rustic quality of an old railroad cart mixed with finely sanded cherry is such an amazing focal point. Dave is a true craftsman and artist.

This farm is a place to relax and enjoy nature and quiet. Chickens, dogs and kids are usually running free and having a great time. The grandkids are in the garden eating more strawberries than they pick with red faces as souvenirs.

Dave Moss the owner and craftsman. He has owned and operated Moss Hardwood flooring since 1994. Dave started with the business when his father in law Marv owned it and never looked back. Woodworking has always been second nature to him and something he loved. Like many woodworkers he can loose track of time when creating something beautiful and working with his hands. You will frequently find him in his barn with the radio on and a cup of coffee. When his grandkids visit they are usually in and out of the barn trying to make things right along with him. That or trying to get in his way. Being the patient man that he is he always takes time for them and teaches them new techniques.

These costume made bread boards are an amazing work of art. Letting the wood speak to you and following the grain is so important to a craftsman. I always believe that the grain in a tree tells a story that goes far beyond my years. Where the tree was grown, the hardships it endured, who lived in the tree and of course that many years that it has been around. Each of these bread boards has been made with conserving the trees beauty in mind. Mixing woods to create contrast is something that Dave does very well and with an artistic eye. He also always lets a live edge be the star. The organic quality of his boards make them so unique and the perfect backdrop for your kitchen or as a server for a family party.

What a beautiful table made one of a kind. Dave loves to collaborate with clients to create a work of art. All of his pieces are made from locally sourced wood. The organic lines of this Curly Cherrie wood makes for an amazing focal point in Deb and Kens dining room. This Curly Cherry is very rare and only apparent once the tree is cut to be milled.
