I recently spent some time helping one of my paddle buddies refresh their home, and this project was such a fun transformation 💙

It all started in the dining room with an oak table that had been completely painted black. We stripped the top to reveal the wood and finished it with a rich dark walnut stain. Gold accents were added to the base, and the claw ball detail was sanded and stained to bring the character back to life. I found the perfect oak chairs at Goodwill, and once the holidays wrapped up, I gave them a refresh to beautifully pair with the table.

The updates continued... New artwork, pillows, and a throw blanket brought color and warmth to the primary bedroom. Upstairs, an unused room was transformed into a cozy second guest room. The dresser was repainted a soft white using Fusion Champlain, with the top stripped to reveal the mahogany and sealed with a clear coat. A mirror that had been hiding in a closet was added to complete the look. The couch was a great clearance find from Living Spaces. The main guest room was finished with new bedding, artwork, and nightstands.

Small changes, big impact ✨ Creating spaces that feel fresh, intentional, and welcoming is always the goal.

Decided I needed more nightstand storage and found this great Henredon piece at one of my favorite shops in Phoenix. It was missing the drawer handle, so I added a leather pull. On the doors I kept the original copper pulls but added leather to them. Cleaned with Oz and a touch up pen and viola…just like new 💙

Hi peeps 😊 I have been mia but remodeling ain’t easy. Spent this weekend a little under the weather so I broke out my collection of sea glass, shells and pebbles and started creating.
A few of these pieces are spoken for but I’d love to create one for you!
I also found a great bench and reupholstered it for our laundry room. Things are coming together.

I have enjoyed finding and refinishing furniture for the last 7 years and have met some wonderful people along the way.

When I was quoted a price of $400-550(labor only) to install ceramic tile in the guest bathroom, I laughed, returned the tile and took matters into my own hands!

Check out these after/before pictures of my project.

I started by deglossing the ugly, old,yellowed vinyl floor. That was followed by 2 coats of kilz primer. Over the primer, I used valspar floor paint in bright white. I ordered a 24x24 stencil on Etsy. For the stencil, I mixed 2 testers to create the blue color. I cut the stencil to go around the toilet. After the stencil had set, I dry brushed the white paint over the entire floor creating a hand painted tile look. For the final step, I used 3 coats of tough coat in matte.
Total project cost $80 and a fresh looking guest bathroom.

Beauty is who you are… jewelry is simply the icing on the cake.

Finished up these cute little jewelry boxes for the AZ house.
I was inspired by my friends They have incredible upscaled jewelry boxes and cabinets available. Make sure to check them out.

These are painted in Sherwin Williams Retro Colonial Blue. I used the Ghostwriter stencil Lemon Tree transfer and Eternal Gold decor wax.
I love the way these came out and look in the room.

Retired but decided farmhouse isn’t for me and am redoing my kitchen table and adding “new”chairs. Found these mcm chairs that were horribly finished. They are sanded and ready for stain! They will be joining the Haywood chairs I refinished last month. Stay tuned….
