Tonight was bittersweet to say the least. Still not sure reality has 100% set in for me yet, but I definitely choked up a bit after handing over the keys and pulling out of the parking lot. 2021 hasn’t been very kind to most small businesses and sadly, ours didn’t see the other side of it. I’m still leaving with a full heart knowing how many people we helped the past 6 years and how many friendships and memories we made. It made my heart happy when Loro walked in the door today to come help us wrap up getting everything closed out. I started and finished with the ones who also poured their hearts into this store, right along side me, helping make furniture zone what it was. Not really sure what the next chapter holds for me, but for now I’m going to catch up on some desperately needed mental health days and enjoy some long overdue time with my family, friends and fur babies. Thank you to everyone who helped support this crazy journey. I appreciate each and everyone of you and you will always hold a very special place in my heart ❤️🖤
My nephew next to the wall I always measured him was super emotional. That boy always knows how to keep me smiling and asked me for one “last wrap” before we locked it up tonight 🥰 (one of his fave things to do when he came to the store was to be wrapped up in the plastic wrap we use for the furniture)
And yes, the carpet looks terrible but the dance people are ripping it out Wednesday so they can take over the building and have all of the parking spaces without a crazy lady out there in her pjs and house shoes booting their cars or calling the tow truck 😅😂
And most importantly, let’s go Brandon!
