We got to spend part of our day with the sweet Pony Bird family at their Annual Picnic in Hillsboro! 🤍🤍

Abigail had a blast, Beckham was VERY interested in the turtle and the hare 🐢🐇🥰, and Em, Dad, Sarah, and I loved getting to visit with so many wonderful friends.

We are so grateful to have been invited and to spend the afternoon with some truly amazing people. Pony Bird holds such a special place in our hearts, and days like today are a good reminder of just how special this community is.

We’re excited to introduce KOBO-beautiful, 100% pure soy candles, hand-poured and assembled in a family-run facility in Chicago.

This is what a real small-town community looks like. ❤️

Our La-Z-Boy truck showed up four hours early today-with 15 pieces to unload-while all of our guys were on a delivery in St. Louis. It was just Carrie and me here, so I stayed inside to watch the store while Carrie went out and attempted to unload it by herself in nearly 100° heat.

Then Stan and Jan from Fauth Appliance and Danny from B.F. Mahn’s came to her rescue. Stan brought over his forklift, and together they unloaded every piece. Carrie said all she really had to do was unlock the warehouse, they did all the unloading, then she had to go home to shower, it is that hot.

Small-town businesses helping one another to get the job done. 🤍

We are so incredibly grateful. Thank you, Stan, Jan and Danny—you truly saved us today! 🥹❤️
