Custom project on an older bedroom set. The customer wanted a heavily distressed off white set. It was so fun to make over the dresser, chest of drawers, mirror and headboard. All pieces were painted in Dixie Belle Dropcloth and glazed in a slightly darker color to bring out the fabulous details. I restrained the top of the dressers in a beautiful Tabacco Road Gel Stain by DB. Wax sealed and Gator Hide water protection on the wood tops.

I was so excited to find this vintage hutch. After a good cleaning, I painted it Caviar by Dixie Belle. I left some of the beautiful wood showing through from a light distress. I decoupaged a pop of color on the inside with gold, blue and orange floral fabric. Hardware painted gold. I highlighted legs and other details in a gold gilding wax and it was wax sealed.
