likely mid-20th century (1940s–1970s)

1. Style

The turned legs and stretcher bar imitate older 19th-century furniture, but the overall build looks more machine-made, which became very common from the 1940s onward.

The simple drawer k***s and clean lines suggest a more modern reproduction rather than a true antique (1800s).

2. Construction

The drawers appear relatively simple, without hand-cut dovetails or other signs of pre-industrial joinery.

The finish and wood tone are typical of mass-produced furniture from the mid-20th century.

3. Condition and wear

The wear on the top looks like normal use, not the deeper patina you typically see on 100+ year-old pieces.

Most likely:

A vintage reproduction of an older style, made sometime between 1940 and 1970, possibly earlier if handmade locally.
