Matthew 6:21
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Danny and I were talking this morning about where our treasure truly is.
It’s so easy to get caught up in life—busy schedules, responsibilities, work, sports, money, keeping a spotless house, and all the endless things that demand our attention.
If I’m honest, sometimes even “junking” or having the next project in mind can consume more of my thoughts than it should. 😊
None of these things are necessarily bad, but when they become our treasure, they slowly begin to capture our hearts.
Jesus reminds us that whatever we treasure most is where our heart will naturally follow.
So today I’m praying:
Lord, help us be mindful of where our treasure is.
Let our greatest treasure be found in obedience to You and in the things of Your kingdom.
Keep our hearts focused on serving You.
Give us a desire to walk in obedience to Your Word, even in the middle of busy days and full schedules. Let us always look for ways to serve others.
Lord, keep both Danny and me with hearts that seek You first above all else.
May our treasure be in You. ❤️
