The hand-painted lampshades that were featured on with the fabulous .spencer. Here in their own habitat 🏠 ☕️.
The chandelier (and I have matching sconces), I pulled out of a dumpster . Almost everything in my beautiful little breakfast nook is thrifted. Turns out you can have a FABULOUS space with hardly any money at all. Check out on for some incredible inspiration and design ideas from all the amazing designers… all done on a dime.

I’m calling this ‘CELEBRITY FOR A DAY’ 🌟.
What started as an email this summer, that tbh at first I ignored, I thought it was a scam, lol, but they were ‘persistent’, (I’m so thankful for that 😅), and long story (very) long, we’re here! Being part of an INCREDIBLE new TV design competition show, produced and hosted by the amazing .spencer, (now streaming on ). I’ve been an interior designer for almost 15 years. Since design shows started airing on TV, I’ve watched, binged and stalked SO MANY of them, with the tiniest little ‘secret desire’ to be on one myself. And so it happened, myself and my INCREDIBLE DIL , (I can’t even believe it’s even real), are on an episode of this amazing, fun, inspiring, new series. God knows our heart, right 🙌🏻, and wants to give us the desires of them. I’m SO THANKFUL to HIM for this an amazing opportunity that came our way. EVERY part of the experience was incredible. I don’t even know how to say THANK YOU to EVERYONE (especially our producer ), who embraced us, encouraged us, and helped us ‘total newbies to TV’, have such an amazing experience, that we will never forget. We made lots of new friends especially our opponents (who are now our besties😉), from , and connected with so many designers from other episodes. To top it off, to be invited as guests this past Friday with .spencer is just the icing on this magnificent cake. Nicole and I cannot say ‘thank you’ enough to all or family, friends and clients for ALL the love and support before, during and after this amazing adventure. P.S. .spencer , you’re all lovely, incredibly FABULOUS, so kind and gracious, and made us feel like a million bucks, and especially made us feel like ‘A Celebrity for a Day’ 😉

Speaking of ‘all things thrifted’, and all the chat about (can’t wait 😉), brought to mind this fun project that me and did together. The fireplace, accent seating, and curio cabinet, thrifted and were completely transformed. Incorporated into this sitting room, is the making of a beautiful eclectic space 💙. There are gems to be had, and with a little TLC (okay sometimes it’s a lot of work, lol), you can really add ‘that something special’ to your design.

There’s not much, okay there’s nothing I love about winter🥶. But layers of faux fur ‘help’ with the matter, not that I need an excuse for any kind of fur, lol.

A little nook, in the smallest of rooms, and why not. TBH this came about by accident. The faux fur throw from Christmas deco, I left it there 🤍. The pillow, in transit to another space, I left it there 🤍🖤. The books too, headed for another spot, forgot all about them, left them there 📚 … and here we are the, cutest little corner. When you DON’T overthink’ home decor, the what’s what, the right and wrong etc, you can end up ‘by accident’, lol, with a great looking space.

Some brass vintage gems from for the (decor) win. A few extra bonus points if you can guess what either of them are 🤷‍♀️. Decor should be a ‘mix n match’ situation. Treasured items from ‘a life’s worth’, some of what you picked up along your travels, even some consigned/thrifted goodies. And if you need to pop in a few bits from your local to pull it all together, we’ll so be it. Just have fun, break the rules, wait … there are no rules 😉

The year whipped by so fast, I was like, what all had I done 🤷‍♀️. Turns out I was a busier little bee🐝 than I even thought. A big chuck of change in the year being the incredible task of putting a home 🏠 back together that was destroyed by a leak, all of 8 months worth. 2025 really was an amazing year, professionally, and personally.. some incredible highlights, I turned 60, saw my grandbaby girl Georgie being born, and out of the blue, I mean I’m still in shock, lol, with DIL was casted on a design TV show (airing in the Spring). Of course there’s the (never taken for granted), fabulous opportunities to work with/for my wonderful clients… some new to me this year, and a few oldies, but oh so goodies. And I cannot leave out ‘the trades’ that make me look so good. I couldn’t have done half of these projects with YOU, you guys are AWESOME , to name just a few. I’m so blessed, thankful and overwhelmed at the GOODNESS OF GOD in my life, that there is no beginning, middle or end to. To 2026, so ready for ALL that awaits….maybe even some ‘surprises’ 😉 along the way, who’s knows, only God 🙌🏻

Saying ‘bye for now’ to my (tiny bit) of fall decor. The Christmas bins are OUTTTT 🎄🎄🎄. Time to light this place up, and dive into my ‘once a year’ allotment of GLITTER EVERYWHERE ✨⚡️💫⭐️✨✨.
Anybody else in the Christmas Spirit already, and decking the halls this weekend 🤷‍♀️.

When you have to submit photos of ‘some of your favorite projects’ …. In ten plus years, SO MANY amazing projects for amazing clients. (Instagram) hands are tied, so I can only post a few… but have LOVED exploring my photo library and enjoyed ALL the fabulous memories. I LOVE what I do … I’m blessed beyond words, and so thankful for each and every incredible opportunity.
