So this is our story!
On April 1st, 2005, we purchased Svoboda Industries in our beautiful hometown of Kewaunee. In the summer of 2011, we built a new facility at 110 Duvall Street to run our business. In June of 2021, we sold the building and land to a private party and we continued to run our business. As of October 1st, the Svoboda Industries business will be taken over by Dufeck Wood Products in Denmark. We are grateful to Dufeck’s for continuing to make some of the products that we so proudly created and produced for years. We are very happy to see a local hometown business make use of the building that we built.
We are very grateful to all of our dedicated employee’s we have had over the years. We are thankful to our customer’s who we were so proudly able to serve during this time. To our family, friends, and community, we will be forever grateful for all the support you have provided.
Now to the next chapter! After 35 years with Svoboda Industries, Mike is retiring! Its time to enjoy more fishing, hunting, and more time spoiling the Grandkids!

Today marks 15 years since Greta and I became owners of Svoboda's. Special thanks to all past and present employees. Over the 15 years Svoboda's has made millions of wood products and continues to create unique wooden items. Thank you to our family and friends for their continuing support.

Svoboda Industries welcomes 2020!

Svoboda Industries is 135 years old this August. I believe that make it the oldest manufacturing still in operation in Kewaunee. Proud to say I have been a part of that tradition for the past 30 years. A lot of changes over the years but we still make some pretty cool things out of wood. Many thanks to all the folks over the years who have helped make us a well known custom wood shop that has customers from coast to coast.

Svoboda Industries is now making Garden Stakes. With Spring coming one of these days we will be ready to supply you with as many 12" stakes as you need. These are made out of cherry wood and are 1.5" wide by 12" long by 3/16 thick. If that size doesn't meet your needs let us know and maybe we can make them to your size needed. Also will have tomato stakes. 3 ft or 4 ft. 3/4" by 3/4" by 3 or 4 ft. Contact Svoobda for more details.920-388-2691
