One of the biggest blessings in my life has been the ability to spend time working with my brothers and my dad before he passed. For many years we have all worked together, and we have always been able to maintain a healthy relationship outside of work too; when we are asked about how we do it, we always tell the same story; “we just don’t know anything different, this is who we are and what we do.” I know I can speak for my brothers as well when I say that I couldn’t be prouder of that, this is who we are and what we have built.
Together, while working under our Dad, we all became skilled tradesmen. We have worked all over the state and built everything from backyard decks to massive shopping centers, we have never regretted it or looked back, but as the years have went on, we have looked for and thought about something different. Our first goal was to keep all of us working together for the common good. Our second goal was to keep working with our hands, be creative and do something that mattered; something where we could consistently give back to our community and organizations that mean the most to us. Lastly, we wanted to do something that would be less demanding on our bodies, provide us with a better quality of life and something that our families could be a part of too. After lots of thought, prayer and planning, in the fall of 2018, I brought the Bear Creek Company to life.
Bear Creek Company specializes in building handcrafted wood products: furniture, home décor, building components, millwork and custom crafted items. All of our products are completed right here in Delton, Michigan. We make it our mission to build a quality product that we can be proud of and we offer a warranty on all of our products to support that claim. We prefer locally sourced materials and continually try to evolve our products to meet the needs and demands our customers. Many of our products are available here, and our custom line specializes in bringing your vision to life, I encourage you to reach out to us for whatever that may be. From time to time, we also offer unique products that supply is very limited on, typically artistic or antique pieces.
