To better reflect the direction of our work—focusing on quality over inventory, and introducing a new artisan line of handcrafted heirloom pieces—we are changing our name to simply:
J&S CALLAHAN
This is more than a name change. It represents where we have been, what we have learned, and where we are going.
We will still be creating the high-end, bespoke furniture and custom woodworking that have always been at the heart of our shop. But moving forward, our focus will be increasingly centered on pieces made with purpose—fine furniture, detailed carvings, collectible works, and thoughtfully crafted pieces designed not simply to fill a space, but to become part of someone's home and story.
Over the years, we have learned that we have no desire to compete on quantity. We would rather make fewer pieces, devote more time to each one, and create work we are genuinely proud to put our name on.
That philosophy is also why we chose J&S Callahan.
Our name allows us to move beyond any single material, process, or product. Woodworking will always be at our foundation, but our work is expanding to include CNC sculpting, fine engraving, metal work, and other artisan processes that allow us to create things we simply couldn't create before.
Whether it is a one-of-a-kind dining table, an intricate carved landscape, a numbered collector's piece, or something we haven't imagined yet, the standard will remain the same:
Made deliberately. Made to last. Made worthy of our name.
Studio B has been an important chapter in our story.
J&S Callahan is the next one.
