Murals by Kristi Simpson—we are SO happy with our exterior art! This is so special to us because it represents a lot of things!!

We love the wildlife refuge and live close to it and we hear these amazing creatures each year they fly in. Their unique courtship dances, their incredible sounds/calls, the fact they mate for life and can fly 400-500 miles in a single day make these birds AMAZING!!

On a more personal level, the saying “We are all part of an Amazing Story!”
represents the 75 years that the name “Anderson” has been an integral part of downtown Decatur. The legacy that Jon’s grandfather E.E. Anderson started in 1951 was built upon by Jon’s father Eddie Lynn for over 30 years before Jon took over in 2007. It is still going strong today and we are so excited about our current refresh and the exciting updates and additions to the business (we have a fabulous Decatur mural in the basement too if you don’t yet know!Jon’s father Eddie Lynn was laid to rest today and we so wish he could have seen both of these murals— we know he would be proud!

“We are all part of an Amazing Story!” Is also a reminder for us that we are part of the “amazing story” of creation too!
