Honored to have CLS Woodworks recently featured by Voyage STL.

It was a great opportunity to share the story behind the business, my passion for woodworking, and the craftsmanship that goes into every custom piece.

Grateful for the support and every opportunity to continue building something meaningful, one piece at a time.

Thank you, Voyage STL, for sharing my story.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Solomon. Hi Chris, can you start by introducing yourself? Where craftsmanship meets nature.

This live-edge river table started as a single slab of curly maple every ripple in the grain is one of a kind, no two pieces alike. We let the wood dictate the design, then poured a deep ocean-green resin river to bring it to life. The result, a statement piece built to anchor a room for generations.

This is what custom furniture is all about. Your vision, your space, your wood built by hand, made to last.

This coffee table started as raw white oak and became a piece built to outlast trends.
The exposed keyed tenons aren’t just detail — they’re structure. That’s the difference between furniture that’s assembled and furniture that’s built.
Tag someone who’d notice the joinery before the finish.

Just in time for the holidays
This book-matched walnut dining table was delivered and set up, ready to host years of meals, conversations, and memories.

Beautiful Oregon walnut carefully laid out to highlight the natural symmetry and grain, finished to bring warmth and depth without stealing the spotlight from the wood itself. Clean lines, solid craftsmanship, and built to last generations.

Grateful to create pieces that become part of family traditions—especially this time of year.
