Tankless water heaters have maintenance requirements similar to those of modern vehicles, which rely on complex systems of sensors and electronics operating in harmony to achieve optimal performance.
Consequently, they demand a willingness to diagnose issues, and as you can see, our team is undaunted by the challenges.
In this particular case, we found the Venturi, which controls the air/fuel ratio had failed, as well as, cleaned the filters. After a quick swap, they was back and operational!

‼️🚨Just a last minute notice to address your plumbing for the upcoming storm. 🚨‼️

Indoor Preparations
Insulate Pipes: Wrap pipes in unheated areas (basement, crawl space, attic, exterior walls) with insulation tubes or foam.
Open Cabinets: Leave doors under sinks on exterior walls open to allow warm air to circulate around pipes.
Let Faucets Drip: Allow a slow, steady trickle of both hot and cold water from faucets on exterior walls to keep water moving.
Maintain Heat: Keep your thermostat consistent and set no lower than 55°F, even if you're away, to prevent pipes from freezing.
Seal Air Leaks: Seal gaps and cracks around windows, doors, and foundation where cold air can enter.
Crawl space: cover any and all crawl space vents and access points.

Outdoor Preparations
Disconnect Hoses: Disconnect all garden hoses from spigots and store them indoors.
Shut Off Outdoor Faucets: Turn off the water supply to outdoor spigots (hose bibs) and drain the lines.
Cover Spigots: Use insulated covers for outside faucets, but remember they don't work if the water supply isn't shut off.

Emergency Preparedness
Locate Shutoff Valve: Know where your main water shutoff valve is and how to operate it in case a pipe bursts. I suggest placing flags around the meter boxes so when the snow covers it, you can easily find it.
Know Your Water Heater: If your water heater is in an unheated space like an attic or garage, insulate its pipes as well.
Well houses and neighbors: Be sure and prepare your well houses and don’t assume it’s ready. But more than that, call your neighbors and make sure they are prepared. Maybe they are out of town or it’s a rent house or an elderly lady that just can’t prepare like she should.
