We run into all types of water line repairs and with severe cold weather and heavy precipitation headed our way, this is just a friendly reminder today, while the sun is shining, to get prepared!

✅Know where any exposed pipes are and let those drip and open cabinets, temps are going to be close to zero and below at night and not rising much above freezing for a week
✅Insulate any pipes you can...get creative if you need to - old quilts and blankets cut to wrap tightly and then cover with plastic or bucket for moisture prevention, heat lamps
✅Know where your main shutoff valve is

Some of what we do is new construction, a lot of what we do is taking something older and figuring out how we can give it new life and purpose.

Patience and creative thinking...these old buildings don't follow modern rules. Walls aren't plumb, nothing is standard...yet we learn to work with the quirks and get the jobs done!

It's been a pleasure to work on this outdoor kitchen project for Dr Lofton. Problem solving to create this custom cabinet for 3 different size green eggs has been a welcome challenge. There is even a charcoal hopper and a tool drawer built in. The metal rimmed counter tops will be done in concrete.

I recently finished this custom shower at my house starting with demolition, reframing and a new shower pan that will never leak. Lighting was added to the ceiling and it was re-plumbed with a diverter valve for two rain heads which sure are nice when sitting on the bench.
