My wife and I owned Carole’s Southern Charm next to the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall in Dawsonville from 2003-2015. We sold custom floral arrangements, home decor and patio furniture. We also sold Christmas items year-round but went really big at Christmas. So big, in fact, some people referred to us as “the Christmas Store.”

When we retired in 2015, we had so many customers that had purchased patio furniture over the years, I struggled with how they would be served in the future. Where would they get warranties serviced? How would they be able to add to or replace their furniture? Where would they get replacement cushions? Thus, Southern Comfort Porch & Patio was born.

I am still semi-retired but it gets quite busy during the Spring and Fall. I do not have a “brick and morter” type store. I work from my home (and my truck). I have little to no overhead and I have tried to make it easy to buy from me via my web site: www.scporchandpatio.com. I still have relationships with the vendors/manufacturers that I had when we were Carole’s Southern Charm. However, without the overhead, I can give the best prices available.
