Do we have any Clog fans in the audience? We have some exciting news for you!! Clog is back in town and he is enjoying himself eating plenty of submerged aquatic vegetation in the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta🌿!!!

Thank you to Alabama Wildlife Federation for sharing these photos with us! We love seeing our Save the Manatee Club adoptees. If you didn't know, you can adopt Clog through Save the Manatee Club's adoption program (https://savethemanatee.org/adopt-a-manatee/clog/). A portion of adoption proceeds are used to help fund our awareness and outreach efforts by distributing Save the Manatee Club’s public awareness waterway signs and boat decals in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

🌿Happy world conservation day!!

Every choice we make from reducing plastic waste to properly disposing of fishing gear helps protect the Gulf's incredible marine wildlife. Healthy habitats are essential for dolphins, whales, manatees, and countless other species that call our coastal waters home.
This Nature Conservation Day, consider one small action you can take to help protect the wildlife and waters we all share. If you'd like to support our work, consider making a donation through the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Foundation. Your generosity helps fund marine mammal response, scientific research, outreach, and conservation efforts across Alabama's coast.
💙Together we can make a lasting impact for the Gulf and the marine mammals that call it home.

Its been a hot summer which means everyone is enjoying the northern Gulf waters, including manatees!! Be sure to keep an eye out when you're out on the water, as these big critters can be harder spot than you'd think (just take a look at these videos and how they so easily disappear below the surface). Polarized sunglasses are a great way to increase visibility of underwater sea life!
