Good morning! We hope you all were able to spend the Christmas season surrounded by people you love. 🎄We took a little break to be with our families and are now needing to prepare to move out of the Midwest Market building.

On Thursday, December 30th we will be open from 6:30-8:30. We will have our final markdowns on the remaining products that are in the store. If you are able, stop in and see what is left!

Merry Christmas to you! 🎄

Every Malouf product on the floor at Midwest Market has been marked 20-25% off. Bed pillows (Lavender Shoulder Cut Out, Cotton Encased Down and Bamboo Charcoal Active Dough) and 5-sided mattress protectors are 20% off and all remaining sheet sets are 25% off.

This product line has been a favorite of ours for sure! We’ve received so much positive feedback on the pillows and sheet sets and we love them too! If you’re curious, more information on these items can be found at www.Maloufsleep.com. {Disregard their retail prices as ours are considerably ⬇️.}

Our last order of handbags and backpack purses arrived! One of our favorites is the Karina. Available in Storm Gray, Pecan, Navy and Juniper - all fantastic winter colors! The Karina can be worn as a wristlet or a cross body bag. It has a card carrier on the inside with a zipper on the back side for change as well as a zipper pocket inside of the purse. Things are starting to get real around here. We have less than 30 days left in this building. I had planned to put together a video to share some of our fantastic sale items and to start saying our Thank You’s to you all, but I found out that it’s easier to type than speak these words right now. 😢 Man, we’re going to miss this place!

Midwest Market will be open several days this week. We have most items marked down and have also put prices on many of our furniture/display items. If you have any birthdays, showers or weddings coming up, now would be a great time for you to stock up on gift items - many items in store are at or near wholesale prices.

It is closing in on a year since we opened our doors at Midwest Market and what a joy it has been! We’d like to take a moment to reflect and share our most heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the way our community has supported us this time.

We are truly humbled by the way so many of you showed your love - from sending flowers when we first opened, to driving from afar each month to be a part of our day, bringing us freshly baked bread and homemade freezer jam, volunteering your time and hands to help on sale days, taking photos of our store and products so we could share them with our customers, bringing us delicious homemade snacks, sharing a conversation, a smile, offering words of encouragement and shopping local with us when we know you have so many other options.

Midwest Market has become a special place where we’ve had the pleasure of making new friends and reconnecting with old. It has been an amazing time of joy for us to be a part of a small spark of revival for the Dassel downtown community and hope that the community presses on to support the small businesses that continue to occupy it.

Therefore, it is with sincere sadness that we share with you the news that we have lost our lease for 261 Atlantic Avenue. We will be in the necessary processes of complying with our contract and vacating the building by next month.

We’d prefer to celebrate the positive side of things so our loss will be your gain! With a few exceptions most store items will be for sale at significant discounts including display pieces, most furniture and business supply stock items. Most everything will need to go and fast! We will be opening our doors on a few additional days and hours so watch for announcements!

Next week, we will be open three days.
*Monday, December 13th from 6:30-8:30 pm (this is a new date)
*Thursday, December 16th from 9:00-5:00
*Saturday, December 18th from 9:00-5:00

As stated above, most items in the store are marked down. We will also have the remaining Malouf bed pillows on sale for 20% off. We still have great stocking stuffers and gift items too, so come in and get those while you can!

We'd like to extend our thanks to you, our valued Midwest Market customers, and spread some of our own holiday cheer by offering a 48-hour (20%) off the fine linen Malouf sheet sets that we carry in store.

These luxurious Malouf sheet sets have been a huge hit with our customers, and we are thrilled to offer you them for a short time at even better prices!

Midwest Market is open on Saturday, December 4th from 9-5. Michelle made a special delivery today. Limited Edition matte green Fraser Fir and Fig scented candles {they look absolutely fabulous with all of our holiday greens! } 🎄
